NEW HOMES
Building a new home is an American dream. Though not possible for everyone, it can be one of the most exciting experiences your family has shared. Doing it green avoids unnecessary waste and creates healthy indoor air. It also produces uniqueness and beauty. Our homes are specific to you and to your site; we won’t offer you packaged or generalized solutions. We’ll carefully study your land, the daylighting, surface water, ground conditions, habitat, and access. When we turn to designing rooms and filling them with detail, your design as built will be comfortable, easy to maintain, and stunning. We work with many unusual and affordable natural materials which cannot be duplicated. This makes each home we build stand out as memorable.
ADDITIONS
It’s easy to imagine adding a huge new area to your home, but sometimes a creative use of space does just as well or better and saves money and materials. Our team will carefully prioritize your needs, consider sightlines, microclimate, and compatibility of style. You’ll find that the new addition transforms the rest of the house as well as being wonderful in itself. The family will spend most of their time there and all sorts of serendipity will appear in how the addition relates to the other spaces in your home.
RENOVATIONS
We design to conserve resources while making just the adjustments needed to make your home come alive. We always consider the value of your investment; should you ever decide to sell, the renovation we did for you will likely be the first thing buyers will love. You will enjoy the space we created together; the family may spend most of their time there. There are an infinite number of ways to transform an existing house; we’ll find the ones which are a perfect fit for you.
